Share the load : Story Of A Indian Middle Class Man

#Sharetheload #IndianMiddleClassMan #HeroToZero #SupermanToDoberman

India is in a metamorphosis. Education levels of female are increasing, however the amount of women who work and share the financial load is very less. But the standards, the costs of living are such that if there is only one person working, that person should be a Superman.

I often wonder…why is that most of the middle class/ higher middle class Indian men are like robots and lifeless machines. These were source of inspiration for their energy levels, passion to life and excellence in different fields. They were awesome till they got married. And all these people are the ones who chose ” Non Working Women” as their spouses.

No offense or not intending to degrade non working women. Gone are the days where the homemakers used to do everything manually without any help of electronic gadgets, gone are the days where the wife does everything…there are servant maids to do domestic chores.

Oh..coming back to these middle class men…their parents slogged in the tough years of India where the opportunities were low, life was tough…even in such years they brought up these gentlemen to be multi talented, excel in multiple fields and dream big. And these idiots what do they do, they get a job, get married and become a machine and dead as vegetable.

Ask me why they became so….they take up the entire financial load of the family as they think they are macho men. They slog day and night with office work. They forget they are human, they forget they were the prince of their parents, they forget they are the mentors of their Sisters….all they remember is they are caretakers of their wife and servants for their kids.

And yeah…by the way they opt for a homemaker that she takes care of his kids and takes care of his entire personal life. But in reality what happens….these kids whose mother is a homemaker…are more arrogant, more indisciplined…they don’t respect time and money. So they end up watching cartoons half of the time , other time watching the daily soaps which mother watches, other time roaming around the world along with mother to complete the lunch or dinner and rest of the time wasting the money of the Dad playing games on mobile . Just because they have the time to do so…May be the ladies too do so because they are also frustrated of life.

And ask me why the kids watch cartoons or spend time on mobiles ….yeah…because mothers don’t have patience for story reading or any games….these TV and gadgets are easy way to keep the kids busy.

Oh and this pseudo concepts of “Lady of the house slogging day and night” is irrelevant these days. 90% of these ladies are educated, they know that their man is working like a donkey, but still they don’t make an effort to share the load, in reverse they build business case or reasons on “Why And how the kids of working women have pathetic upbringing, how working moms are bad mothers and bad wives”. And some, even they want to work they don’t work because they are used to happy and leisure time at home.

And these middle-class men who were apple of everyone’s eyes in their childhood slog slog slog and retire only to realize in their old age that they didn’t live life but dragged their life a money minting machine.

Yes, being a life partner, being a parent means SACRIFICE, but that doesn’t mean you kill yourself. My Dear middle-class married Indian men! Stop being a macho, let your wife also share the financial load. And you too don’t forget that you are human, you are your parents prince, a prince deserves a royal time. Don’t die in the ocean of responsibilities. Let your children be responsible, don’t make them arrogant idiots by buying everything they want.
And don’t think always about them, next time you want to buy your favorite woodlands shoe or Rolex watch…just buy for yourself.

And you being the Hero of your family, help your Heroine to kick start or continue her career. And don’t get lost in the concept of “Working Women being the bad mothers and bad wives”. Don’t let the talented, educated ladies sit at home and spend time on futile things.Don’t breed frustrated lady out of a well educated woman. Would you like to see your daughter just sit at home all the times, be busy forwarding whatsapp jokes and watch TV when she is grown up? No…right…then why do you let your wife do that ???
