Nil Battey Sannata : The Mathematics Of Dreams

Every time, I watch this movie “The Pursuit of Happyness”, I never remember watching this scene without eyes filled with tears,  when Chris clears the interview and while walking on the road says “This moment of my life is called Happyness” …so far this is the movie close to my heart….

Today I got to watch a beautiful movie called ” Nil Battey Sannata”…which roughly translates to zero divided by something leads to hopeless silence…there are so many moments from this movie where you have joyful and emotional tears along with the characters of the movie.

This is a beautiful story of Mother Chanda, her Daughter Apekshs and their mathematics with dreams of life.
Chanda is a Bai(Servant maid) at a Doctor’s house , she dreams her daughter to do well in life by studying and she struggles a lot  to ensure her daughter study well. Whereas, Apeksha is a happy go lucky, arrogant, not so hardworking student, who just thinks ” A servant daughter becomes only Servant”.She just hates Mathematics.

How the Doctor helps  Chanda in motivating her daughter to study mathematics, how she makes her understand the value of dreams and how her daughter achieves the dream is all the story about.

And this entire story is blended with awesome humour and with wonderful characters. The unconditional love of a mother is beautifully depicted.

Chandra’s message to her daughter in the backdrop of Tajmahal is one of the finest scenes…she says …
“Dreams can be unreal or far-fetched, people will laugh and take you down; you’ll have a long, hurdled way towards fulfilling your dreams, but that shouldn’t stop you from pursuing them. Because no matter what, no one can snatch your dreams from you! They are for you to own, and you ALONE.”

This is definitely an award-winning movie and don’t miss watching this movie with your family members.

Sunday Thoughts : Circus Of Life

Here today after a refreshing weekend, I came up with this similie of Circus and Life and want to name it as “Circus of Life”.

There are two dimensions. Every person’s entire life and the people we encounter in life can be compared to Circus, where we play different roles of Circus and where we encounter different people of Circus.

How entertaining our life is , depends on how much variety and how diversified is the circus we are into. The diversified traits, the diversified roles we play in life make the circus makes more entertaining. We may chose to be the Joker; who knows everything but still does everything in funny manner, we may chose to be the courageous and pretty  girl doing variety of stunts , we may chose to be the stuntman who risks everything and is just focussed on his show. We need to play all these with right attitude because rest of the world is watching you and for them every act of yours is just entertainment….even the way you deal your problems is also entertainment..but you shouldn’t get perturbed of audience reactions…you just need to focus on your performance 😀

Another dimension is apart from our inner Circus, the external circus of life too becomes more entertaining when we associate in more shows and with more people. We encounter jokers, we encounter pretty people, we encounter tough guys and in the end it’s all entertainment of life. There are so many hardships, everything is risky, but need to be done in funny manner with team spirit because it’s entertainment and World is watching you. In this team dimension of Circus, there should be perfect synchronization with the people you are associated to, if they don’t show humanity or team spirit you just die. If you think others are not helping you, you better have your own individual shows so that at least you don’t get hurt or die without proper reason.

We come alone, we die alone and the important and beautiful time in between is just “Circus of Life” and how diversified you make it and how many people you accommodate in between and make show of Life entertaining is something interesting….

The Circus is famously known as Georges Seurat’s final work before his death in March 1891

Have a great week ahead.

Storm of Life

“Sometimes fate is like a small sandstorm that keeps changing directions. You change direction but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again, but the storm adjusts. Over and over you play this out, like some ominous dance with death just before dawn. Why? Because this storm isn’t something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you. This storm is you. Something inside of you. So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, closing your eyes and plugging up your ears so the sand doesn’t get in, and walk through it, step by step. There’s no sun there, no moon, no direction, no sense of time. Just fine white sand swirling up into the sky like pulverized bones. That’s the kind of sandstorm you need to imagine.

And you really will have to make it through that violent, metaphysical, symbolic storm. No matter how metaphysical or symbolic it might be, make no mistake about it: it will cut through flesh like a thousand razor blades. People will bleed there, and you will bleed too. Hot, red blood. You’ll catch that blood in your hands, your own blood and the blood of others.

And once the storm is over you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”

Mysterious Yet Beautiful Life :)

Was busy and recovering from  fever in past few days and didn’t have much options except for gulping bunch of medicines ,staying at home and sticking to my mom like a Kangaroo and it’s baby… and Have been reading different biographies and  watching various internet videos on different life stories last week..

One side we have superheroes of real life…a lady who is a survivor of acid attack ..another a victim of human trafficking…still they have passion for Life…
On the other side we have screen star who gave up on life after hardships…and some gave up after being strong for long time…

There are some who are dying to be alive..

There are some who are dying every moment and who don’t want to live..

Everyone is correct in their place….

But still…What a paradox….people who want to be alive….die…they and their loved ones do everything to keep them alive..but still they die…

And on other side there are lots of People who want to die, who don’t have any urge to live life even for a second…they live homuchever effort they make to die…

And there is one more important category, they see face of death but still get second chance to live. They know what it is to die and how difficult it is to live in tough times and how difficult it is to make an effort to be alive…they know how precious life is..

Life is mysterious…God’s choices to us are mysterious…

Our stay in this planet is just decided by God and the way we live in this planet is decided only by Our own self. We can create heaven by  living each moment happily or create hell by dieing  every moment by living in sadness…the choice is ours….

Let’s live this moment completely, God takes care of the next moment 🙂

Next time, you meet a person, pause for a second, genuinely ask them how are they and share a smile, share a warm hug…

Have a blessed week ahead 🙂
