Some Interesting Songs From Recent Hindi Cinema…

Image Courtesy Google: Ranbir Kapoor from the Hindi Movie "Rockstar"

Here are some of interesting songs from recent Hindi cinema….

1)Chillar Party – Tai Tai Phiss : This is favorite song of my nephews and niece. Have played this song hundreds of times for my niece and for my nephews. Me too don’t have any objection in watching this song as this is a Ranbir Kapoooooooor’s song 😉

2)Ik Junoon (Paint it red) Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara: Loved this song, right from the time the music was out in the stores. Its my current caller tune and after watching this movie, I have added Spain too to this  my dream Solo Europe Tour :D. Oh..yeah…I need work hard  really to afford for a classy Europe Tour…till then I will enjoy the song…

3)Saathiya-Singham: This song by Shreya is just Sweet and Serene. Feels good watching Kajal. It really feels good watching neatly dressed, down to earth heroines in Hindi Films after a long time. Feels good listenting to this song during long rides.

4)Achha Lagta Hai  From Aarakshan : This is a sweet and simple romantic song in the recent films!!!!  when some one really likes a person..every act of theirs would be a wonderful  and magical thing…am sure this song is based on that theme….Above all its a Mohit’s song…so obviously it would be my favorite song 😛

5)Hona Tha Pyaar By Atif Aslam From the Movie BOL: Amazing song from an amazing movie 🙂

6)Teri Meri  From “Bodyguard” Movie: Love this song…yeah…often I wonder why the hell did RFAK Sahab had to sing in such a loud voice when Shreya sang in a sweet song….however we need to understand that the song was picturized on Sallu Bhai…so the song had to be like that…RFAK Sahab had to sing like that…need to understand!! Btw warning for the girls!!! All Bodygaurds are not like Sallu Bhai…so don’t sing this song to every bodygaurd!!!

7)Dhunki – Song – Mere Brother Ki Dulhan: Love to listen this song once in a while during long drives!!! However, conditions apply, this song is not meant to be heard when you want to have some serene solitude or when you have loads of work at office or when you have high blood pressure or bad headache. Song to be heard when you feel you can do anything in this world..basically a song to be heard when you feel you are a star!!!

8)’Chahoon Bhi’ from Force Movie:  Bombay Jayashree ‘s voice has some magic. Here is the  Ondra Renda song of Bombay Jayashree from the Kakka Kakka Movie (Force is remake of this tamil movie).

9)Rabba Mein Toh  from  Mausam: We have 2 versions for this song and both are amazing. Was mad about this song and only later watching the movie i understood that this song was the cheeze offered to the audience to drag them into the mouse trap of Mausum Film.

10)”Chammak challo” from ”Ra.One’ : Akon’s interesting voice, SRK’s so called Indian Super Star avatar(for Kids and middle aged ladies), super amazing Kareena in Red Saree are the elements in this wonderful song. Whatever…this song is a family song…Baby, Aunty, Uncle, Dadi, Dada etc everyone can watch this song for their element of interest!!

11)Saadda haq, aithe rakh from ROCKSTAR: Am eagerly waiting for this movie because it has my favorite folks: Ranbir as the ROCKSTAR , songs sung by Mohit Chauhan , music composed by my favorite AR Rahman and last but not least movie is directed by the Jab we met fame “Imitaz Ali”.

Check these inspirational and care a damn types…. lyrics….

Tum logon ki, is duniya mein
Har kadam pe, insaan galat
Main sahi
samajh ke jo bhi kahoon
Tum kehte ho galat, main galat hoon phir kaun

Marzi se jeene ki bhi main
Kya tum sabko arzi doon
Matlab ki
tum sabka mujhpe
Mujhse bhi zyada haq hai
Saadda haq, aithe rakh

and last but not least

Dedicated to diehard fans of Himmy Bhayya!!! No touching No touching….only seeing…only seeing…..only seeing….I say only seeing……

Deepavali Subhakankshalu

This year's Deepavali Pic at Home 🙂

Mee andariki Deepavali Subhakankshalu( Deepavali wishes to all of you) 🙂

Deepavali Festival “The Festival of Lights” represents the victory of good over evil (Rama’s victory over Raavan), it represents the necessity of women exploring their full potential and respecting the power they have in eliminating the evil in the society(Satyabhama’s battle on Narakasura ) and Deepavali does represent the aspect of respecting the wealth we have, proper utilization of the wealth(Some stories in Indian Mythology say that Goddess Lakhmi’s Birth is on Deepavali Day. )Goddess Lakshmi is symbolism of wealth, Light and Happiness. Thats the reason, people worship Lakshmi on Deepavali.

Deepavali is completely about celebration with lights, sweets and good time of celebration with family members.

Wishing all of you Happy Deepavali to all of you. Have a lovely and successful year ahead.

Best Regards,

Be The Best of Whatever You Are (Douglas Malloch Poem)

If you can’t be a pine on the top of the hill,
Be a scrub in the valley-but be
The best little scrub by the side of the rill;
Be a bush if you can’t be a tree.

If you can’t be a bush be a bit of the grass,
And some highway happier make;
If you can’t be a muskie then just be a bass
But the liveliest bass in the lake!

We can’t all be captains, we’ve got to be crew,
There’s something for all of us here,
There’s big work to do, and there’s lesser to do,
And the task you must do is the near.

If you can’t be a highway then just be a trail,
If you can’t be the sun be a star;
It isn’t by size that you win or you fail
Be the best of whatever you are!

Miss You Mamma!!!

Today I miss my Mamma(GrandMa) a lot!!!  What to write about my Mamma!!! Lots of memories!!! Lots of sweet memories!!!

She was very innocent and serene.  The pollution of this world did not reach her and her thought process. She never really bothered about riches and poverty because she experienced extreme richness and extreme poverty in her life. She was the only person in the world who loved me for What I am. For her I was the most intelligent child. For her I was the most courageous child!!! For her I was an “all in one book”!!!

My Mamma was my secret locker. I used to tell her all my secrets. I used to discuss with her all my thoughts about my study, life…blah blah. I am not sure if today’s kids have this wonderful opportunity of listening to Grandma’s tales but I was really blessed in this aspect. My Mamma used to tell me hundreds of folk tales and I never used to get bored with her tales. She even used to sing for me…not the lullabies though!!! She learnt carnatic music for a while in her childhood and I was her solo audience.

Best time was during warm winter Sunday mornings!!! After the headbath, to have the warmth of Sunshine…Mamma and Me used to go the terrace and used to spend time there. We used to water the plants, clean the dried leaves in the plants and arrange the flower pots. We used to do this work in slow motion, so that we can kill sometime speaking all the things in the world. This sweet and slow motion task of ours used to end with the yelling of my Mom. She used to scold both of us for spending time in hot Sun(by the time we used to come back to downstairs…the warm morning used to turn to hot sunny afternoon).

My Mamma was a mad Brinjal vegetable fan. She used to eat Brinjal curry, Brinjal pickle 365 days, 24 X 7. She used not to get bored!!! Her creativity in cooking used to move around Brinjal!!! Her favorite breakfasts were idli and vermicelli upma. God!!! May be they were easy to eat!!!

All through the days of study, in our home, all of us used to wake early morning to study. Basically our day used to start at 4:30 or 5 in the morning and the day used to end by 9:30 pm maximum.  My Mamma used to sleep by 7 pm and sometimes if by mistake if we study upto 10 pm and if she finds us awake in the “midnight” 10 pm, she used to scold us by saying with a sweet angry tone “Don’t study that much!!!!! Don’t spoil your health!!! You are sooo hardworking my child!!!”. In such situation, this  type of pampering of my Mamma used to make me really feel like the Atlas who carried the Earth…so I used to immediately close the books and sleep.

Today, I really don’t know in which timings I work and which time zone I am awake. I really don’t know how many hours I work…how many hours I travel and how many hours I really take rest!!! No one insists me to work for these many hours…I work for my goals and responsibilities. But still….there are somany expectations  about me at home and at work from somany….at this stroke of midnight…..I remember my Mamma…who never expected anything from me…except for some time to spend with her!!!! Wish my Mamma was with me today….atleast she would have appreciated me for this journey of my life unlike others who constantly bug me to improve this parameter or that parameter in work or life!!!!

A Quick Visit To Some Of My Favorite Websites That Share Knowledge For Free

A Famous Telugu Poet Shri Gurujada Apparao said ‘Sontha labham koncham manukoni porugu vadiki todu padavoyi’  which means (We should sacrifice some of self-mindedness and help our neighbours in need).

Often people find it so tough to share knowledge. They hesitate to share the best practices. They feel sharing their knowledge empowers the other person and makes the other person more important than them.  Not a devilish thought process though!!! However, I strongly believe that Knowledge is a magical thing that multiplies when we share it, we become more knowledgeable when we share what we know.  Believe me….I always earned something or the other whenever I shared knowledge. We may not receive money every time for the knowledge we share every time, however, the love, affection, blessings, happiness we see in the other person we see when we share knowledge is unfathomable. Driving the point home, I just want to say “Share Knowledge and Grow Rich”. Now my definition of “Rich”ness is not in terms of monetary value. A person is Rich when he has lots of ideas, lots of blessings, wishes from so many people. Whats the value of money if our richness is not useful or helpful for any other person except for ourself.

Today I will share in this blog post of mine, some of my favorite websites which help me in keeping my knowledge updated.

Kaise Ho Tum….Poochenge Hum…

About this Song by AGNEE band in their own words:

Hey.. these are the lyrics for Kaise Ho Tum, our new release! Prashant Narayanan is at his best with these words… Mohan and Prashant were sitting and singing this song, when he said “Dude, this should be a song about when two ex-lovers meet after a long time.. and there’s no bad blood, just happiness at seeing each other out of the blue.. and this song will talk about what they feel for and say to each other at that time.”

Well, not in SO many words.. but something to that effect! 🙂 So we have two versions of the song.. one sung by Mohan and one sung by Shilpa Rao.. and here are the lyrics for both! We love the lyrics.. and everyone agrees with us about Prashant being a genius! 🙂

Oh.. and when you hear the song… dont miss Koco’s guitar, Rushad’s bass lines and Raja’s keyboard and piano parts.. they’re what MAKE the song the way it is. 🙂

Here are the lyrics:

Kaise Ho Tum
 Poochenge Hum
 Kaise Hain Hum
 Poochogi Tum
 Mera Jo Haal Hai
 Tera Woh Haal Hai
 Jaane Kyon
 Mera Jo Haal Hai
 Tera Woh Haal Hai
 Jaane Kyon
 Meri Ankahi Daayarein Kayi
 Teri Ansuni Bolon Mein Kahin

Kaise Ho Tum
 Poochenge Hum
 Kaise Hain Hum
 Poochogi Tum

Guitar Solo

Daastaan Yeh Dil Ki
 Dil Se Kam Nikalte Hain
 Vaastaa Baaton Ka
 Rang Aur Batlaate Hain
 Daastaan Yeh Dil Ki
 Dil Se Kam Nikalte Hain
 Vaastaa Baaton Ka
 Rang Aur Batlaate Hain
 Waqt Se Faansle
 Bujhe Kuch Haunsle
 Jaane Kyon
 Waqt Se Faansle
 Bujhe Kuch Haunsle
 Jaane Kyon
 Meri Karwatein
 Mujhse Jo Kahein
 Teri Silvatein
 Chhup Ke Jo Sahein

Kaise Ho Tum
 Poochenge Hum
 Kaise Hain Hum
 Poochogi Tum

Steve Jobs : An Epitome Of Creativity and Persistence

I Miss You !!

News about the death of Steve Jobs on October 5, 2011, one of  Founders of “Apple” was a shock for me. I do know that he is suffering from cancer , however his death is a shock to me. He is a source of inspiration to me from my school days, for me Steve Jobs is an epitome of creativity and persistence. The way he tried all through his life in transforming his imagination into perfect thoughts and then the way he realized his thoughts into amazing products is amazing!!! Who thought gadgets could be so colorful, so stylish and soo wonderful!!!

Steve Jobs is not just any other creative guy…what makes him more special is his amazing levels of “Persistence”.  He ..with his super levels of persistence made a great comeback to Apple (the company which he founded and from where he was thrown out) and strived hard to make it one of the amazing companies of the world.  This was on his creative professional front. On personal side….He survived all these years inspite of  pancreas cancer only with his persistence and the passion for the life in the Life he had!!!  All these qualities of Jobs make him as one of my invisible mentors. There were times in the past 6 to 7 years , I used to go back to the scripts, videos, quotes of Steve Jobs for inspiration during my tough times!!! I am what I am today…may be because of the inspiration I drew from the life story of Steve Jobs!!!

Here are some of favorite quotes/campaigns  of Steve Jobs:

“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes …  the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. … You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things. … They push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.”(Apple’s 1997 Think Different campaign)

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.  Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.  Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become.  Everything else is secondary.(Stanford Speech 2005)

Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick.  Don’t lose faith.  I’m convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I loved what I did.  You’ve got to find what you love.  And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers.  Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.  And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.  If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.  As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.  So keep looking until you find it.  Don’t settle.(Stanford Speech 2005)

Here is  Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech 2005  :

Here is the full text of the above speech from Stanford website:

Here is A Photo Biography Of The Great Steve Jobs:

Here are Steve Jobs: Top 10 Innovations, From the Apple II to the iPod to iPad :

I  am not that learnt or that wise to write a perfect tribute to this wonderful person. do not have proper words to write a tribute in this blog of mine. However, I did write  whatever I could…to showcase my love and respect to Steve Jobs!!!

Last but not least….I just want to say once again “Steve Jobs!!! i Miss you. Love you and Miss you. May your soul rest in peace!!!”

Best Regards,
